Track every conversion with confidence
Feeding cleaner data to ad platforms for 1,000+ brands
A sale without its click teaches your ads nothing
Shopify, WooCommerce, ClickFunnels, and your affiliate networks report each conversion from their backend, through a webhook, a postback, or a native integration. That event holds the order, the value, and the customer. It has no record of the ad, the landing page, or the clicks in between. That part happened in the browser, and it is gone unless something keeps it.
The Tracking Tag keeps it. It opens a session when the visitor lands, records what they do, and places a Click ID on the links, forms, and checkouts on the way to the conversion. When the server-side event reaches AnyTrack with that Click ID, it ties to the web session that earned it. That match is what makes conversion tracking accurate, and it depends on how well the tag reads the page.
One tag, from the click to the conversion
Identify the click
On landing, the tag reads ad click IDs and UTM values, sets a first-party Client ID, and opens the session.
Instrument the page
It finds the links, forms, carts, and checkouts on the page and gives each one its own Click ID.
Stitch the session
The conversion returns with the Click ID. AnyTrack ties it to the session and, on paid plans, sends it to ad platforms.
What the tag detects on your pages
Links
Finds the affiliate and merchant links tied to your integrations, even ones a script adds after the page loads.
Forms
Tracks form submissions and fills the Click ID into hidden fields, so your CRM keeps it with the lead.
Carts and checkouts
Collects items, quantity, and value, and writes the Click ID into Shopify carts and ThriveCart checkouts.
Products
Reads product name, price, and category from the page, and adds them to ViewContent and AddToCart events.
Integrations
Recognizes Shopify, ThriveCart, HubSpot, and other platforms on the page, and tracks each one the way it works.
Data layer
Finds your Google tags in the data layer. In Google Tag Manager, map your data layer events to AnyTrack events.
Six jobs, one install
Client ID
Gives each visitor a first-party ID and restores it when a browser caps the cookie or the visitor deletes it.
AutoTrack
Tracks page views, plus clicks and forms on your integrations. Turn on Catch-all Events to track the rest.
AutoScan
Crawls your site after install, finds affiliate links, forms, and checkouts, and matches them to your integrations.
AutoTag
Sends each Click ID in the parameter the destination reads, such as sid for CJ and subId1 for Impact.
Tag management
Loads your Facebook Pixel, Google Tag, and TikTok Pixel from one place, each with the right identifiers.
Custom events
Fire your own events with a short code snippet, and enrich them with customer and product data.
Installs where your site lives
Google Tag Manager
Let the setup wizard add the tag and publish your container, or add the AnyTrack template yourself.
Online stores
On Shopify or WooCommerce, use the dedicated integration, which also collects orders, products, and customer data.
WordPress and more
Use the WordPress plugin, or paste the script in the head field of ClickFunnels, GoHighLevel, Wix, or Webflow.
Tracking Tag questions
The Tracking Tag, explained
A JavaScript snippet you add to every page of your site. It opens sessions, collects traffic source data such as UTM parameters and ad click IDs, and tracks browser events such as PageView, FormSubmit, and OutboundClick. It keeps its identifiers in first-party cookies on your domain, and AnyTrack uses that data to attribute the conversions your sources send.
No. A pixel belongs to an ad platform: the Facebook Pixel is Meta's, and the Google Tag is Google's. The Tracking Tag is AnyTrack's own script, and it loads those pixels for the platforms you connect.
Yes, for every conversion that starts on your site. Your store, CRM, or network sends the conversion server to server, but the ad, the pages, and the Click ID come from the web session. Without the tag, that conversion has no session to attach to.
No. When the browser and a server-side source report the same conversion, AnyTrack counts it once.
Yes, when the devices share a signal, such as the same email at checkout or a time-limited IP match. A second device with no shared signal stays separate.
Yes. Put it on every page in the customer journey, starting with the landing page. If your funnel spans several domains, add cross-domain tracking. The install guide in the knowledge base covers each method.
The AnyTrack Pixel Helper turns blue when the tag loads, and PageView events appear in the Conversions Report in near real time.
It loads asynchronously, so it does not block rendering. Browsers cache it, and a global CDN serves it. For an exact figure, measure your pages before and after you install it.
Yes. It runs in the browser, so a privacy browser or an ad blocker can block it. Conversions from your conversion sources still reach AnyTrack server to server.
It does not run for known bots that render pages, so those visits do not open sessions.
Not at first. Keep them until you verify that AnyTrack delivers to that platform. On Starter and above, then remove the direct installs that send the same conversions. On Free, keep them, because Free does not send conversions to ad platforms.
Your consent platform keeps the visitor's choice. With Google Tag Manager, the AnyTrack template reads the four Consent Mode v2 signals. For Shopify, GoHighLevel, or a direct consent platform, ask support to turn on Consent Mode for your Property. See Consent Mode in the knowledge base.
No. Google Tag Manager is one way to install it, and the two work together.
